			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many benefits to using a fitness rowing machine.  Rowing is a great aerobic exercise for getting you in shape.  The more muscles you use while you&#8217;re exercising, the less time it takes you to get a total body workout.  Fitness <a href="http://www.rowingmachines.com/">rowing machines</a> use many muscles of the arms, legs, abdomen, and torso.  Your heart and lungs can get as great a benefit from rowing as from running, in a workout that also builds muscular strength and endurance. </p>
<p>Rowing places little strain on the back, if the <a href="http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&#038;q=rowing+machine&#038;um=1&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;output=html">fitness rowing machine</a> is used properly. Joint and muscle problems are not common among people who row regularly.  Doctors often prescribe this exercise for people with lower back and disk problems.  If you have back or circulatory problems, get medical clearance before you start a rowing program and get proper training on how to use your fitness rowing machine.</p>
<p>Proper rowing form is critical.  It is the same if you are in a boat or shell or using a fitness rowing machine.  Lean back from your hips while pushing back with your legs and torso. Bend your arms as you pull on the oars until your elbows pass behind your chest and the handles are an inch from your stomach.  Keep your back straight the entire time, to prevent lower back problems.<br />

It is a good idea to try using a fitness rowing machine in a gym for a couple of months before you purchase a rowing machine for your home.  Be sure that this form of exercising meets your needs and gives you pleasure, and get a trainer to make sure you are rowing with proper form.</p>
<p>Fitness rowing machines range from a few hundred dollars to about $2,000.  A good machine has handles with adjustable resistance levels.  The seat should be comfortable. Straps on the rotating footrests hold your feet firmly in position.  Some machines have an ergometer that shows your speed, distance traveled, and calories burned.  Lightweight machines fold up and store in a closet. </p>

<p>There are some great tools available to the aspiring body builder including definitions, suggestions, advice, and much more.  You can find some great resources when it comes to searching for an encyclopedia of body building.  These resources can be online or even in book form.</p>
<p>When online, you might want to check out www.bodybuildingpro.com.  Their website touts them as the encyclopedia of body building, and thereâ€™s some great information to be found in here.  You can get tips on how to workout properly, data on the best supplements to use, and ways to get the proper nutrition for an effective body building routine.<br />

Another great website is www.bodybuilding.com.  This â€œSuper Siteâ€ tells about upcoming competitions for body builders along with some terrific tips and advice about workout programs and positive mindsets.  There is also a great motivational section with hundreds of articles about how to stay on track with your body building program.</p>
<p>For teens who are looking for a comprehensive encyclopedia of body building, check out www.teenbodybuilding.com.  This site is directly aimed toward teen body builders and how young people can workout properly without injury.  Their articles give some great information to help any teen with his or her body building program.</p>
<p>Many body building experts have written some great books about the sport.  Body building great Arnold Schwarzeneggar has collaborated with fitness expert Bill Dobbins to publish The New Encyclopedia of Body Building:  The Bible of Body Building which is available in many bookstores as well as online at amazon.com.</p>
<p>Weight lifting expert Paul Ward has also published a book on body building.  His Encyclopedia of Weight Training concentrates on the weight lifting portion of a body building program. It has to be about your health. Being skinny is not just a matter of your physical looks. The reason that body mass index (BMI) has become such a popular expression has to do with health. In order to be considered a healthy weight, you have to be a certain weight. If you are above a healthy BMI for your height, you are considered to be overweight. Recent research tells us that if youâ€™re overweight, you are at more of a risk for things like heart disease and diabetes. Therefore, when you decide to lose weight, it needs to be about your health as well as your physique.<br />

The healthy eating programs that are out there such as Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig are all fine for a time, but real life changes have to be made in order to reach your fitness goals and maintain them. </p>
<p>	First you have to realize that this will take work and that you will be rewarded in the end with a healthier and more energized body. If you can manage to keep that thought with you at all times, you will be able to ward off the cravings for the foods that you have indulged in too often. You will also be able to get yourself to exercise as much as you need to. The work and your will power will be rewarded greatly at the end of your journey when youâ€™re a whole new you. </p>
<p>	There are some tips that can help you stay motivated in case having the picture in your head is not enough. Some you may have already heard, but as Iâ€™ve found them useful, Iâ€™ll bring them up again. As the commercial thatâ€™s been playing for two springs so far reminds us; in the summer, we all want to lose weight in order to fit into our bathing suits. Late winter and early spring are prime time to pull that bathing suit out of storage, or purchase a new one and hang it up as a daily reminder that you want to look good in it during the hot days of summer. You may also decide to set some weight loss goals in the form of losing a certain amount every two weeks or so. When you reach those goals reward yourself with something non-edible like a shopping trip or a pampering at a local salon.  Another motivational tool you may want to use is to dig out a picture of yourself at your ideal weight. As with the bathing suit, put the picture somewhere that youâ€™ll see it daily. This way you will remind yourself daily that you were there once and you can be there again. </p>
<p>	These are tools that you can use to help you on your path to a new and healthy you. Simply key in phrases like â€œhealth toolsâ€ into your favorite search engines to find calorie counters and more for helping with your plans.</p>
<p>Remember that weight loss is about more than looks. It has to be important enough to you to make some sacrifices now to obtain the goals youâ€™ve set for yourself.</p>

Now where to begin action is a primary question. You just cannot randomly get hold of any weight loss product or program that comes to your mind, or take some advice your friends or relatives offer on the basis of their experience, however good their intentions are or however successful their experience has been. That advice may or may not be suitable for you. It may or may not work in your case despite the successes that they or others have had.<br />

There are numerous programs or products for weight loss. There is a huge variety of temptations to adopt a quick-fix solution to your weight problem. Occupying a very prominent place among most of these is diet. Food, as you know very well, was the culprit that increased your weight in the first place. You realize you have indulged in overeating, or in eating the wrong type of food, long enough to be loaded with excess fat in the body, resulting in being overweight. You know you have a craving for sugar-rich ice creams and other sweets, foods replete with fats and oils, fast food, processed food and such things. You also know you have the habit of munching some or the other junk food all the time. Controlling or curbing this craving, this habit of overeating or eating food that you like but is not good for your weight is difficult, of course, but not impossible, if you try hard enough.</p>
<p>You may have heard of several diets that help weight loss. Low-fat diets, low-calorie diets, low-carb diets, formula diets recommended by expert dieticians and doctors specializing in nutrition and weight loss, negative-calorie diets and so on have flooded the market. These are supposed to have the backing of scientific studies and successful experiences of others. Then there are herbal and chemical dietary supplements, which have appetite-suppressing qualities. When you consume them in the recommended doses, they reduce or stifle your craving for food, and as a result, you eat less than usual. Thereby you lose weight.Â  That sounds very good in theory. However, one would wish it to be as simple as it appears.</p>
<p>Not that there is no truth at all in the case for the right diet. What is important is you have to find out what works for you. You have to decide perhaps to change your eating habits. You may have to eat what you need to eat for weight loss rather than eat what you want to eat because of your innate liking for certain types of food.</p>
<p>Although food is a very important factor in weight loss, there are other things like regular physical exercise and activity-filled life that contribute equally well to achieving your ideal weight. For this, you may have to bring about lifestyle changes and stick to them on a consistent basis.</p>
<p>Your very first step towards losing your weight is, therefore, to consult your health care professional about the right diet, the right exercise, the lifestyle changes you have to make and, once you get the right advice that suits you, follow it with an iron-clad determination and commitment.</p>
