			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Breaking bad habits can be really difficult – much harder than you would think. Whenever I try to break bad habits, I am always surprised by how difficult it is. Whatever the bad habit is – be it smoking, sleeping in too late, eating fatty food – it seems like it should be pretty easy to do away with. When you visualize it, you imagine yourself stopping right away and never doing the habit again.</p>
<p>In reality, however, it doesn&#8217;t really work out this way for most of us. When most people are breaking bad habits, they have a long period of relapse before they can actually stop doing whatever they want to stop. The thing that you have to understand is that most bad habits serve some psychological function. People who overeat, for example, usually do it as a way to compensate for feelings of inferiority, anxiety, or some other issue. The same thing goes for smoking, drinking, and many other habits. Then again, there are also those bad habits that are simply too enjoyable to be easy to break. Who doesn&#8217;t like having a nice desert after dinner? Who doesn&#8217;t like sleeping in instead of getting straight to work. These are just some of the obstacles that you have to face when breaking bad habits.</p>
<p>It may seem kind of lame, but when breaking bad habits you have to really take it one day at a time. Don&#8217;t start never smoking again, simply decide to not smoke today. Make the same resolution every day, every hour, or even every minute if you have to. It may take tremendous amount of work, but eventually you will persevere. The key is to not think ahead when you are changing something. Just think of the moment and you will succeed. If you plan ahead, the task of breaking bad habits may seem insurmountable. If you only think about the current minute, however, it is comparatively easy.</p>
<p>Whenever I am trying to break a bad habit, I would start off by getting up early and sitting some meditation. This is a great way to clear your mind before the stresses of the day begin in earnest. Breaking bad habits is not something you can do at night. It&#8217;s hard to get a realistic perspective when you&#8217;re going to sleep, and anyway you don&#8217;t really want to be thinking about things that could stress you out. If you want to get a fresh start, get an early start!</p>

<p>Rowing machines range in price from about $100 to $2000.  When you buy an exercise rowing machine, you are sure to love the total <a href="http://www.healthynow.org/">body workout</a>, so the price is well worth it. The main types of rowing machines are air rowers and water rowers.  Air rowing machines are usually more satisfying for novice purposes than water rowers.  When you exercise on these machines, each stroke turns an enclosed fan and the resistance of the air provides the resistance you feel when you pull for the stroke. </p>
<p>When you buy an exercise rowing machine, you should consider several factors.  First, look for a comfortable seat.  There is no point in going out to buy an exercise rowing machine if you can’t exercise on it for long because you are uncomfortable sitting on your machine!  It is possible to buy special seat cushions for some rowing machines, but don’t try to create your own as you can cause severe <a href="http://www.healthynow.org/?page_id=2">back damage</a> if the improvised cushion slides off of the rower.<br />

In the process of buying an exercise rowing machine, make sure the seat moves back and forth up the monorail smoothly.  Some rowing machines use low friction materials for this purpose and better rowers use bearings.  You want the power of your stroke to be used only for turning the resistance fan.  Also, ensure the foot stops are solid and large enough, so that if your foot should slip, you&#8217;re not going to do yourself any damage. </p>
<p>Before you buy an exercise rowing machine, make sure the machine’s on-board computer has the functions you want.  Some buyers may only want basic calories and distance rowed readouts.  While some may want more detail like having a pace boat to keep up with or power curve readout. </p>

<p>Analgesics are the most common form of arthritis pain medication. Most are available over-the-counter and do not require a prescription. Prescription analgesics can become habit-forming, so be certain to adhere to the dosage prescribed by your physician. </p>
<p>Biological Response Modifiers are substances that modify the body&#8217;s response to infection and disease. BRMs are sometimes used to treat severe forms of arthritis such as Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Depending on the severity of the symptoms, BRM therapy may require patients to stay in the hospital during treatment. Side effects of BRM therapy include flu-like symptoms such as chills, fever, and body aches. </p>
<p>Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs are used to slow the progression of joint destruction and deformity and are generally prescribed to patients who suffer from aggressive forms of arthritis. DMARDs are typically used for long periods of time and may require dosage alterations. Side effects of DMARDs include upset stomach, skin rashes, muscle weakness, and vision changes. </p>
<p>Fibromyalgia medications are basically anti-depressants that affect neurotransmitters, the chemical transmitters within the brain. These medications are usually most effective when combined with other treatment programs such as stress reduction, regular exercise and certain dietary changes. </p>
<p>Glucorticoids are medications that include cortisone and related drugs. Corticosteroids have potent anti-inflammatory properties and are used in a wide variety of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, colitis, asthma, bronchitis, certain skin rashes, and allergic or inflammatory conditions of the nose and eyes.</p>
<p>Gout medications are typically prescribed in combination with analgesics and anti-inflammatory medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). Gout medications are used to treat gout (also called metabolic arthritis), a form of arthritis caused by a congenital disorder of uric acid metabolism. </p>
<p>Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs are commonly prescribed medications to reduce the inflammation of arthritis and other body tissues, such as in tendonitis and bursitis. Some of the more common NSAIDs include asprin, Motrin, Advil and Ecotrin. The major side effects of NSAIDs are related to the gastrointestinal system and include abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, heartburn, and upset stomach.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>True success in life can only come by not settling for mediocrity, we should always strive to achieve and get the most out of life that we possibly can, it is only when we push ourselves and give it all we’ve got can we then give ourselves a pat on the back for a job well done. Success in life depends on self-discipline and not giving in at the first hurdle you come across or going into a project only half heartedly, by pushing yourself that little bit further you will be surprised at what you are capable of achieving, this is what separates the winners from the losers or the successful from the unsuccessful.</p>
<p>All people say that they want to succeed in life at whatever they do but very few are willing to actually push themselves them little bit further in order to achieve their goals, and this is why some of us succeed in life and others fail. How well you succeed is all about how bad you want the success, what it means to you, are you willing to succeed a little or are you willing to go the whole way and beyond to achieve a higher status and be outstanding?<br />
<span id="more-289"></span><br />
We all start out with the best of intentions when racing towards the goals we have set, we shoot out of the starting gate and run down the straight but many of us fall back at the first hurdle, we don’t push, we run out of steam when the going gets tough and don’t pause to catch our second wind but come to a halt and give up, or stumble on half heartedly and cross the line in second or third place at best. </p>
<p>Those who do have the winning streak in them, who know that with a little extra push and a pause to catch their breath and then a final sprint down the home straight and past the winning post a head in front of their competitors are the ones that end up with the glory and true success in life. </p>
<p>Of course all those who are successful don’t just rely on pushing themselves, all winners have a strategy and are willing to be flexible on their way to success because life has a way of throwing many different spanners into the works along the way. We have to be able to adapt to these unexpected happenings when they occur and not get bogged down, we have to take them in our stride, skip around them and continue in the race. </p>
<p>Never settle for anything less than giving it you’re all</p>
<p>Here are some tips to help you remember never to settle for anything but your best no matter what the project is</p>
<p>•	It doesn’t matter how big or small the project put your all into getting it completed<br />
•	If you think you have given it your best shot, pause and ask yourself “could I improve”<br />
•	Plan our your project but always be willing to make changes and work your way around the unexpected<br />
•	It’s ok to pause but get back into the race and carry on until you pass the winning post. </p>

You can get tips on how to workout properly, data on the best supplements to use, and ways to get the proper nutrition for an effective body building routine.<br />

<p>- Canadian researchers discovered that people who return to a stressful job after a <a href="http://www.surgeoninfos.com/about/">heart attack</a> are more likely to have a second attack than those without high levels of job stress. About 1000 people were looked at by the researchers. In 6 years, over 200 of the patients suffered heart problems again.</p>
<p>- According to researchers at University College London, unhappy relationships are bad for the heart. Scientists found that people who do not have emotional support and understanding from their partner, have a 34% increased risk of <a href="http://www.surgeoninfos.com/">heart disease</a> than those in happy relationships.</p>
<p>- Subclinical hypothyroidism (mildly underactive thyroid) can increase risk of heart failure. According to a new study, people with the condition are twice as likely to have heart failure compared to those who have normally functioning thyroids.</p>
<p>- Among people who experienced a heart attack and later developed depression, a lack of response to antidepressant treatment suggests a high risk of another cardiac incident. It was discovered that the non-responders to treatment were nearly 3 times more likely to experience a new cardiovascular episode compared with the untreated patients.<br />

- Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Medical School found what popular weight loss programs are good in promoting heart health. They discovered that the Ornish diet is the best one for your heart, Weight Watchers is second, while Atkins is last.</p>
<p>- Massachusetts General Hospital researchers found a link between panic and heart attacks. They found that older women who reported one full-blown panic attack during a 6 month period were 3 times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke over the next 5 years than those who didn&#8217;t report a panic attack.</p>
<p>- Researchers from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine found that fatty foods cooked at high temperatures can cause a significant dysfunction in blood vessel dilation. As a result, a heart disease can take place.</p>
<p>- Taking large doses of calcium supplements can increase the risk of heart attacks in older women. A University of Auckland study found that the calcium supplements may increase the chance of a heart attack by up to 40 percent in women over 70.</p>
<p>- Onions are rich in compounds that protect people from heart disease. Onions and other plants of the allium family (leeks, shallots, and scallions), contain compounds that help lower cholesterol, thin the blood, and prevent hardening of the arteries. All these things can cause heart disease.</p>
<p>- Getting out of bed before 5 a.m. is bad for the health of your heart. Japanese researchers found that early-risers are at a higher risk for developing heart problems, such as hypertension, strokes and hardening of the arteries.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The body is remarkably resourceful. It takes what it gets and it does the best that it can. Many take vitamins because they know they arenâ€™t eating like they should, but even some of those people are taking too much. What they donâ€™t realize is that when they are taking too much, the liver must work overtime to rid the body of what it can not use. Unlike storing energy for later, the body can not store vitamins. If they are not useful, they are discarded. Those who take advanced nutrients might be doing more harm than good.<br />
<span id="more-265"></span><br />
Between foods and vitamins, it is hard to know if we are getting what we need, or if we are overdoing it. The average person might need a multivitamin, but that is about all they need. If they are taking advance nutrients, they may be overloading their liver, making it work harder than it has to. Even those that eat very poorly might be surprised to find out that they really donâ€™t need all of those extra things you can get when you stock up on advanced nutrients. Not only could these harm the body, they can drain the pocketbook needlessly.</p>
<p>There are some who will benefit from advanced nutrients in many forms. Children are often ones who have problems with eating, and they can get some benefit. Athletes are often in need of something a little extra, though not all of them will need this. High school children are probably okay with a good, balanced diet and a vitamin, but those who train all day and play professionally might need something extra in the form of advance nutrients. Others with some diseases and illnesses might also benefit.</p>
<p>However, this is not something the average person can ascertain for themselves. When someone wishes to take advanced nutrients for any reason, they should have a long talk with their doctor about the possibility. It might even be wise to go over a personâ€™s average menu to see what might be missing. A change in diet might negate the need to spend money on and taking advanced nutrients. A doctor knows the score, and they can recommend what you need while looking out for a personâ€™s health all at the same time. A nutritionist can also help, and might be even more helpful than a doctor at times. As long as someone is keeping an eye on things, everything should be just fine.</p>
